The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a half-day standardized test required for admission to all law schools that are members of the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). It provides a standard measure of acquired reading and verbal reasoning skills that law schools can use as one of several factors in assessing applicants. The test is administered four times a year at hundreds of locations around the world.

Many law schools require that the LSAT be taken by December for admission the following fall. However, taking the test earlier—in June or October—is often advised.

PSU is one of the test centers contracted by LSAC to administer the LSAT. PSU does NOT answer questions about test content, registration, scoring, or score reporting.

Questions?

Questions about the LSAT should be directed to the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) at: (215)-968-1001.

Your admission ticket for the test, sent to you by LSAC, has information you will need for the test day, ie, where to report, what to bring/not to bring, etc.

While Testing Services administers the LSAT, the exam is usually conducted at another location on campus. See your admission ticket for the testing location.
